MJ Photography specializes in journalistic-style portraits and weddings, as well as some more “posed” but not stiffly formal styles of shooting. We love to photograph families, couples, kids and pets, baby and maternity and of course your very special day – the wedding. Join MJ Photography on locations in and around Prince George and explore hidden away spots that most don’t know about – that make great natural backdrops.  Explore the seasons by doing a photo shoot for each season of the year – then combining 1 image from each season into one framed photograph.  Let us capture the moment for you and your family, as they truly are now, in a relaxed, fun and un-forced atmosphere.

We have three different Portrait packages, all of which includes a 4x6 of each image, professionally retouched and printed, one custom framed wall portrait of your favorite image and a CD of full-sized images, retouched and ready to go – giving you the opportunity for showcasing the images in digital photo frames, online on social networking websites like facebook, and sharing images with friends and family via email. You will be able to print as many images as you like from this disk, so 2 or 3 years down the road when you want an extra copy of that great shot of cousin bob for a present, you will be able to easily find and re-produce the image. We are able to print any reprints and enlargements for you through our professional photo lab where you will always get top-quality images.  Our 3 packages are for ½ hour, 1 hour and 2 hour sessions, giving ample time for large families and multiple generations while allowing for the individual portraits and smaller budgets as well. Our packages start at $300, for retouching, 4x6s, a wall portrait and full-quality CD.

MJ Photography offers three different Wedding packages to best suit your needs and budget. All of our wedding packages includes a 4x6 of each image, professionally retouched and printed, one custom framed wall portrait of your favorite image and a CD of full-sized images, retouched and ready to go – giving you the opportunity for showcasing your wonderful wedding in digital photo frames, online on social networking websites like facebook, and sharing images with friends and family via email. You will also have an easy time doing up your own personalized wedding scrapbook or album from these images. We are able to print any reprints and enlargements for you through our professional photo lab where you will always get top-quality images. We also have optional wedding albums available. Our packages also include custom-made thank you cards using images from your wedding and a 25% discount on enlargements and reprints for 30 days.  Our three Wedding packages include ½ day– your ceremony and 2 hours of “formals” or portraits; ¾ day – 2 hours of “getting ready”, the ceremony and 2 hours of formals; and the full day package - 2 hours of “getting ready”, the ceremony, 2 hours of formals and 4 hours at your reception.  Weddings start at $1100 for the ½ day package

A 50% deposit is required to book any session.
